All parties were urged to commit to peaceful dispute resolution and refrain from the use or threat of force during negotiations.

Highlighting the principles of international humanitarian law, both sides called for an immediate halt to attacks on civilians and non-military targets. They stressed the need to safeguard critical infrastructure, including energy facilities, desalination plants, power grids and peaceful nuclear installations.

Recognizing the strategic importance of the Strait of Hormuz, China and Pakistan urged all parties to ensure the safety of commercial vessels and crew. They called for the swift restoration of normal shipping operations to maintain global trade and energy flows.
